You can also purchase artwork at any of Carolyn's shows or locations listed below and at some shows meet Carolyn in person. Please note that only a portion of Carolyn's work from her various collections are shown at these venues and shows due to the fact that Carolyn has over 120 creations in her complete body of work. Each show may consist of anywhere from 10 to 20 pieces of art unless it is a show at The Quan Gallery Showroom where over 50 pieces of art are shown at any given time. This website is the only place where you can view Carolyn's complete catalog of work in one place. If you would like to be added to our e-blast list and hear about shows, please use the sign-up box on the upper right.

Rising Sun at Sunset: Expressions of the Japanese Culture
| Carolyn
Quan and the artists of The Quan Gallery - Kenn Briner, Brad Huck,
Lori Koprowski, Rhonda Aquino, and Kirk Kurokawa unveiled exciting
new work inspired by the Japanese culture. This unique show featured
work by all of the artists using their own mediums and techniques
including photography, mixed-media, encaustic, oil painting, and photo
collage. Each artist expressed their own unique vision capturing various
moods and expressions that are inspired by the Japanese culture. To
enhance the visual aspect of the show, there was live Taiko drumming
by the Watanabe Taiko Drummers. The Watanabe family has been performing
Taiko for almost a century, going as far back as five generations.
Guests enjoyed drumming throughout the evening, as well as Japanese
pupus and spirits. |
